As Club Director, Rich works hard to take a personal interest in the development of every player in the club. In addition to running the club and coaching one of our teams, he spends much of spare time doing individual and small group private lessons. His athletic playing and coaching experience includes:
Rich brings a broad perspective on youth athletics as a club director, coach, high school and college athlete, and a father of a high school and college athlete.
Club Director, Tracy Feldmann, has been involved in Youth Sports for over 15 years. The ultimate "Team Mom", Tracy has helped out coaches and leagues with organization, fund raising, event planning, and more. Her excellent organization skills and communication style are the key to the smooth running of BAVC. She is known as Momma T to BAVC Players.
Sal joined BAVC two season ago after several years with the Vibe Volleyball club. He lives in a volleyball household and is well know and highly respected in the middle school, high school, and club coaching community. Sal brings to the club a wealth qualifications and experience including:
Ryan Evans, is a former club volleyball and 3 year varsity high school player. Ryan was one of the starting outside hitters for De La Salle High School and on the 2011 team that went undefeated in league and won an NCS Championship. This team was ranked 13th in the Nation. Ryan is a natural when it comes to coaching he knows just the right thing to say so the players "get it". Ryan now attends The University of Nevada and was a setter for two years on the UNR Club Team. While Ryan lives in Nevada he commutes to tournaments and practices to support his players as assistant coach to our 16-1 power team. While he is home during the summer months he is our most requested private lesson coach and he runs our Sand and Summer Clinic Programs.
Reza played varsity volleyball all four years in high school. He lettered his freshman year, was co-captain his sophomore year, and captain his junior and senior years. Reza has played Junior Olympic volleyball and club volleyball throughout his college years at Pennsylvania State University. Reza continues to play in several leagues throughout the Bay Area. When Reza isn't coaching one of our boys or girls teams he is in charge of our Adult Program and Sunday Evening adult open gym program.

Linda has a great love for and long history playing and coaching volleyball. She played four years of College Volleyball at Santa Clara University on an athletic scholarship and won a Gold Medal at the 1983 Junior Olympics on the girls under 19 team. She followed up that distinguished playing career by coaching Catholic Youth, Freshman, and Junior Varsity level volleyball. She is currently the head coach of the JV team at De La Salle High School and played a significant role getting players ready to earn spots on DLS varsity teams which are consistently one of the top teams in Northern California. Linda is a strong believer in teaching the fundamentals of the game ensuring every player has the opportunity to achieve their potential.
Jeany has been coaching off and on for the past 24 years including High School Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshmen, 8th grade, 7th grade, club 16's and club 14's. Until this year when Jeany started coaching for BAVC, she was the Club Director for SOAR Volleyball Club. In addition to coaching club she is the 8th grade coach at Martinez Junior High School, and has been for the past 6 years.
Christian was a 4 year varsity starter at DeAnza High School. He played both the setter and outside hitter positions. During his time as a player for DeAnza Christian earned 2nd team all league honors as a sophomore and junior and his senior year he earned 1st team all league honors. Christian is in his second year coaching for BAVC and will be assistant coach on our 16-2 Power team this year.
Hannah has a passion for volleyball and is one of the coaches on the Martinez Junior High 7th Grade team. Hannah has played for her high school team and club volleyball. Hannah is currently helping coach our Winter Ball Program and is looking forward to continuing her coaching development with BAVC during the club season.
Coach Ron has been playing volleyball since middle school through college-Indoor, grass, and beach. Coach Ron is a certified IMPACT Coach with USA Volleyball, Certified with NFHS, member of AVP, and trained under Gold Medal Squared. While Injuries in his early life prevented any serious play, his love for the sport has kept him in the game with playing and coaching the sport. Coach Ron has had a successful 2016 winning season as head coach for the freshman girls at Liberty High School and head coach for the the 8th grade girls at Edna Hill in Brentwood. He believes the hard work at practice and love for the game helped his girls achieve much success. Coach Ron also coached volleyball at Holy Spirit Middle School in San Jose and has coached and directed numerous volleyball clinics at IPlay Volleyball league in Antioch and Edna Hill Middle School. Coach Ron is excited to be a part of the BAVC family and looks forward to a fun and successful volleyball season.
Coach AJ has 5 years coaching experience at Las Lomas high school. Current head coach of the girls freshman team and new assistant coach for the boys varsity team. In previous years, head coach of the boys J.V team and assistant for both the girls J.V and Varsity teams. Coach AJ was the 15's coach at Xceleration last season. Additionally, AJ is a volleyball director at the YMCA, he officiates adult open gyms and also teaches volleyball skills. AJ has 4 years of playing experience himself. 3 years on the Las Lomas varsity team as a setter, outside and middle. During his sophomore year, they were league champions and placed 2nd in the NCS championship.
Karen is an educator at Foothill Middle School and coaches their 8th Grade competative team. Karen is an accomplished athlete in her own right and was a swimmer on track for the olympic games when an injury befell her. Karen is in her second season of coaching with our club and will be the assistant to Sal Paja on our 14-1 team.
Luisa comes to us from Brazil. Luisa graduated with a degree in Psychology. After her graduation from college in September, 2015 she came to the United States to continue her Studies. Luisa has been playing volleyball since she was 9 years old for a club in Uberlandia-Minas Gerais, Brazil. During her years on this club she travelled around the state. Later she was selected to play on the Brazilian State Team where she travelled all over the country representing her state. Luisa also played volleyball while in college in Brazil. Luisa still plays indoor and beach volleyball in her free time. Luisa believes we can learn important things by playing sports, such as how to be a productive part of a group and about ourselves and our limits. Luisa is really excited for the season with BAVC and is confident the 13-1 team will do awesome work together.
Coach "G" arrived in the United States from Montpellier France on Valentines Day 2015 to propose to the girl of his dreams that he met while she was visiting friends in France. Coach G is a Mechanical & Industrial Automation Engineer who is passionate about sports and fitness. Impressively he played for 3 years training, competing and then coaching with the French National Beach Volleyball team and their coach, Stephane Canet at the Montpellier Beach Volleyball Training facility. Coach G's love of the game comes through in his coaching. In addition to coaching for BAVC, he coaches the after school indoor and beach volleyball programs at Foothill Middle School. The girls love his accent!
Bridget is an accomplished volleyball player. She has played volleyball as long as she can remember. Bridget graduated from Antioch High School and played volleyball all through high school and College where she was a middle blocker. Bridget has a passion for volleyball and teaching. Bridget plays in the NCVA Adult league and is a high school Chemistry teacher at Freedom High School.
Coach Mike is a very experienced volleyball player and coach. Mike is the Head Varsity Coach at California High School. While now coaching, Mike still loves to play the game and you will often see him on the court with the players during practice.
Michael played volleyball all through high school as the MH on the Alhambra High School Varsity Volleyball team. Michael is currently the Head JV Coach for girls and Assistant Varsity Coach for boys at Clayton Valley Charter High School. Michael continues to play volleyball himself as a member of the BAVC adult league team.
Kim has been playing volleyball since 7th grade. She graduated from South Lake Tahoe High School in 1989 and was named AAA Player of the Year in Northern Nevada and was also named First Team All State. Kim received an athletic Scholarship to the University of Nevada Reno. After college Kim coached at South Lake Tahoe High School for both their JV and Varisty teams. Kim is still a competative player. She plays in adult leagues for both the NCVA and NAGVA. Kim has a 10 yr old daughter who will be playing volleyball very soon.
Dawnell is a Liberty Volleyball alumni and was on their first NCS winning team. Following high school she played for Diablo Valley College. Dawnell has come back to her alma mater and is currently the Junior Varsity Coach as Liberty High School. Dawnell is a professional fitness trainer and has owned and operated her own personal training business for 3 years in Oakley.
Diana has a passion for volleyball! She has experience coaching both middle school and high school age girls. Diana formerly coaches the freshman, JV and Varsity girls teams at Clayton Valley Charter High School. Prior to that she coached at the middle school level for four years. Diana played volleyball all through High School, taking home the MVP award one year. Diana has first hand experience teaching and mentoring young ladies having three daughters herself. For fun, she continues to play recreational coed volleyball in Clayton.
Lindsay has been playing volleyball since the 4th grade. She took advantage of every opportunity that came her way to improve her skills; clinics, camps, open gyms school teams in middle school and high school and club teams. In addition to playing volleyball, Lindsay also volunteers her time refereeing for the local middle school matches. Linsday is currently finishing up her studies at Cal State East Bay where she is majoring in Graphic Design.
From 2008-2011, Calli played Division I volleyball at Missouri State University where she received multiple team accolades (listed below). The team was consistently ranked top 30 in the country out of 300+ Division I teams at the time, and had 17 straight 20+ win seasons. In 2009, they won the Missouri Valley conference the team earned their 4th straight NCAA appearance. Calli played in 3 NCAA tournaments throughout her college career. In 2009, she was named to the AVCA Central Region Honorable Mention team. To this day, she is 1 of 4 players in the Missouri Valley Conference History (all sports) to receive First Team All-Conference Honors all 4 years in a row during her time at Missouri State. Calli was predominantly a middle hitter, and boasted a career average of .290 hitting percentage, 0.95 blocks per set and recorded 946 kills which was 18th in Missouri State History. Concluding her playing career, Calli has been coaching girls club volleyball, ages 15-18, since 2012. During college, she coached throughout the summer during camps and various training sessions. Since graduating, she has assisted coaching club in the state of Florida and North Carolina helping to bring her team to qualifiers for Nationals in Florida, and Regionals in North Carolina.

Savannah is an avid volleyball player. She played all through high school and now plays for the position of OH for the Los Medanos College Team. Savannah is looking forward being the assistant coach on our 13s Premier team this year.
We are very fortunate to have Wendy as part of our coaching staff. Wendy is an educator at the Contra Costa Christian School in Walnut Creek. Wendy has coached both Middle School and Varsity High School and club teams. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are excited that she will be assistant coaching on our 16s premier team during the upcoming season.
Jaiden is in her senior year as varsity setter for St. Patricks / St. Vincent High School. In addition to playing high school and club volleyball Jaiden currently helping coach our Winter Ball Program and is looking forward to continuing her coaching development with BAVC during the club season.
Mailyn has been playing volleyball for 18 years. She was co-captain of her varsity volleyball team her senior year and received All League Honors as the starting setter. Mai played DIII volleyball at Vassar College and was captain during her senior year. At Vassar whe was an all around player taking the court as Libero / Setter / and hitter. Mai was the assistant varsity coach at College Park High School from 2012 to 2014 where they qualified all three years for NCS braking a 9 year drought for the school. Mailyn is back coaching for BAVC after a much needed sabatical. Mai is still an active volleyball player herself, playing in the NCVA Adult league and BAVC Adult League.
Liz and Angel run both the men's and woman's volleyball programs at Freedom High School. Liz and Angel started coaching for BAVC in 2014 and will be leading our 18-1 Power team this season.
Mireya is thrilled to be coaching young athletes. She played volleyball throughout high school and college. In both high school and college she versital player and played the MH, OH and OPP positions. Mireya has continued playing volleyball in her adult years and plays in the NCVA womans and NAGVA leagues. She has a young daughter and is looking forward to coaching her daughter one day as well.

Danny has previously helped coach during our summer season, but now that Danny has graduated from the University of Oregon with a business degree we are excited to have him coach for BAVC full time.
Danya is an educator and runs both the men's and woman's volleyball programs at Mt. Diablo High School. We are fortunate that Danya is back with us coaching after a one year leave. Danya is GMS certified.
Karlo is the Physical Education Teacher at the Calvary Temple Christian School and has been coaching their middle school girls and boys teams where he has lead the 8th grade team to league championships. Karlo has a passion for teaching young adults the benefits of physical activity and the life lessons that athletics can teach us all.
Kaitlyn played volleyball throughout middle school and high school in Martinez. Kaitlyn still plays volleyball at BAVC in our adult program and looks forward to coaching with Reza on our 17-1 team.
Nicole graduated from Antioch High School in 1997. After high school she played volleyball for Los Medanos College and was the head varsity coach at Antioch High School from 2009-2011. She has also coached club volleyball in the Bay Area through East Bay Jrs and Pinnacle. She has trained extensively through the Gold Medal Squared volleyball program under the instruction of various college and USA volleyball coaches and in 2011 was a coach at the Arizona State University all skills camp in Tempe, Arizona. Nicole is a high school biology teacher.
Sebastian is currently the Varsity Volleyball coach for both the woman's and men's programs at Clayton Valley Charter High School. Sebastian is an experienced high school volleyball player who played Middle Blocker for De La Salle High School. After graduating and attending college Sebastian started his coaching career and we are fortunate to have had Sebastian on our staff for 3 years now. In addition to coaching our 15-1 team last year, Sebastian helps run our Summer Programs with Ryan Evans.
Courtney is a very experienced volleyball player and coach. Courtney earned All League Titles in High School and College and even played professionally in Europe. Courtney formerly held the position of Head Varsity Men's Volleyball Coach at California High School. Standing 6'7" Ryan is an accomplished and honored basketball and volleyball player. Courtney and her husband Ryan just had their first child who attends every practice and tournament with his mom and dad. Courtney and Ryan both continue to play volleyball in BAVC adult league.
